Are Walking Tables Diggable?

More than 1,500 users "dugg" this video of a walking table. I wasn't that impressed. First, because the person pushes the table. Second, I've seen video of a table that moved on its own that ArtBot creator/curator Douglas Irving Repetto built back in 2002. Got me wondering, are Digg users are aware of ArtBots?

UPDATE: It appears the answer is no.

NYTimes "share" tool acknowledges the power Digg, Facebook, and Newsvine have in shaping the news

The NYTimes has added a “share” tool making it easier to link content from their online edition to these popular aggregators/social networks. This makes sense to me. Instead of looking for the news on their doorstep at 5AM, this is where the next generation of the news consuming public is going to find their news. Social networks will have as much if not more of an impact in determining the day’s most important story for these readers than any editor.
